Project Kitty Hawk, ECU helping non-traditional students graduate with college degrees (WNCT)

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Thousands of East Carolina University students will graduate Friday. There’s now a program to help even more students in our state achieve their goals by getting a college degree.

Project Kitty Hawk is making it easy for people to go back to school. The initiative started a few years ago when the General Assembly allocated $97 million to start the program.

“We build pathways for working adults across North Carolina to earn a degree or credential from our terrific public universities, including ECU,” President and CEO of Project Kitty Hawk Andrew Kelly said.
